After covering Scolla’s performance at the Detroit showcase at A3C I hung around for a little big longer to cover an artist that is really one of the only upcoming artists I could put next to Pusha T when it comes to coke raps; Boldy James. I first heard Boldy James on the Fat Raps (Remix) off of Big Sean’s Finally Famous 3 mixtape and I still to this day feel like he had the best verse of anybody else on the song. Although it was a short set, Boldy quickly got the crowd involved and had one of the better responses I had seen at the festival.
