For the past year or so, SCKNOWS has been a predominantly hip-hip centric blog that focuses just on live coverage and original content. While I will still continue to post show recaps, videos, and various other original content, I feel like I get sent too much great music by various artists and PR agencies that often goes unheard and I want to change that, so expect much more content from SCKNOWS and make sure you follow us on twitter and facebook by clicking the links in the sidebar. All that being said, let’s get to the good music.

TRUST is an artist that I just found out about a few days ago and I haven’t stopped blasting his project TRST (Available Now on Itunes and Spotify) since I heard Sulk. I am by no means an expert on electronic music but I am a huge fan of this artist and if I had to explain his styling to anyone I would say he falls somewhere between The Weeknd and Band of Horse. This is a very broad and vague comparison but I get the feel of both of those acts when I hear TRST and I cannot wait to cover this guy when he comes down for FunFunFunFest in November.

Trust returns with more tales of heartbreak, desire, and nostalgia that pull you into Robert Alfons’ otherworldly atmosphere. We’re pleased the announce the release of Trust’s new EP, featuring the single, “Dressed for Space,” a new original track, “Divine,” and two new remixes. Trust is on the road with Yeasayer and Faint for the rest of the year.

Please let me know if you’d like an interview or can offer any coverage for any of these live dates.
