Last night J. Cole tore down Warehouse Live for an hour long set that had all 1000+ people in the audience going completely nuts and hanging on every word of the heir to the Roc’s lyrics. I have been a fan of Cole for awhile and I was super excited when my Scoremore fam told me they were bringing him to Houston for his Cole World, World Tour. In the past year of doing concert photography I have never in my life seen a line like the one that was outside of Warehouse Live, even 2 hours before the doors were opened the line was 3 blocks long, and was still that and a little more up until 10:30 when the last few people started trickling in (the doors opened at 8pm). The only opener for the show was Houston’s own Lee Lon, I have to hand it to the man, the crowd was being ruthless and he was still able to pull off a great set and lead the crowd right into another DJ set by DJ Mr. Rogers.
